Our library is open between the following hours for browsing in a safe environment:

• Monday 10.00 – 13.00 and 14.00 – 17.00
• Wednesday 10.00 – 13.00 and 14.00 – 17.00
• Thursday        10.00 – 13.00 and 14.00 – 17.00
• Saturday        10.00 – 13.00  

Public Computers & Online Services

Public computers are again open for use but printing facilities are unfortunately not yet restored. You are also welcome to come and put some pieces in our communal jigsaw!

Here you can access your library account using your card number as login and your four digit PIN number which is formed from the first two and last two digits of your date of birth.

You can also search the Library Catalogue and access newspapers and magazines via the Digital Library. 

Library Membership

If you are not currently a member of the library, then that is not a problem. If you or someone you know would like to join they can do this online. Your library card number and PIN will be emailed to you. You can access the online joining form here:

Craft Group

Every Thursday 10am – 12 noon the craft group meet.

All are welcome to come along with their current crafting project. We have sewers, knitters, crocheters and a lace maker who share their skills over a friendly cuppa.

Book Group

On the first Thursday of the month our resident book group meets to discuss the book of the month. They are a friendly opinionated bunch who are seeking new members.

Scrabble Club

Every Thursday from 2.30 pm the Scrabble club meet. They are an inclusive group who welcome new players of all standards.

Story Time

Thursdays

10.30 Rhymtime, music, rhythm and rhyme for pre-schoolers and their carers.

30 minutes of noisy fun for all.

15.45 term time only storytime and craft for 4 to 7 year olds.
