Menston Area Nature Trust
Menston Area Nature Trust is a charity set up in 2021 by local residents who are extremely concerned about the loss of biodiversity.

MANT’s immediate aim is to create a network of wildlife spaces in Menston through encouraging and developing nature-friendly gardens and outdoor areas. Longer term, the charity would like to create community nature reserves, inspired by the successful model of East Keswick Wildlife Trust.
In 2023 MANT became the owners of Weston Woods, a 20 acre woodland just across the river, near Otley. They are now managing the woodland for nature restoration and the community. Please see the website for more information.
