Social badminton in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Additionally social events, outside visits and other activities. Open to all aged 16 to 70+ of all abilities.

Menston Bowling Club

Promotes the game of Crown Green Bowling at the Green behind Kirklands Community Centre from April to October. Open to residents of Menston and others subject to acceptance by a membership committee. Joining fee £10. Annual subscription: adult £10, junior £3.50.

Menston Cricket Club

Provides an opportunity for all ages to play and enjoy the game. Outdoor playing season from late April to mid September.

Senior Teams: (Airedale and Wharfedale Leagues) Matches on Saturdays, nets Tuesday from 18.30.

Junior Teams: Under 9s: matches on Saturday mornings 10.00, nets Thursday evenings.

Under 13s: Matches Friday from 18.15, nets Monday 18.30.

Under 15s: Matches Sunday from 10.00, nets Monday 18.30.

Supporters always welcome. Annual Subscriptions: Senior players £40, Students £10, Juniors £15 to £7.50.

Menston Tennis Courts Users Association

Maintains the tennis courts in the park in good order, in conjunction with Bradford Metropolitan District Council, with informal supervision of the courts to prevent or limit vandalism. Enrolment Saturdays generally about Easter 10.00 to noon in library foyer. Details are posted in the Library and on the Community Notice Board in the grounds of Kirklands.

Subscription £8.00 annually, key deposit £10. Keys for occasional use may be obtained from the Post Office, Main Street or 'Cut Away Hair Salon', 1 Bingley Road. Charges apply.
